Larry Wilmore sat down with Bernie Sanders, for a wide-ranging interview with the presidential candidate on such topics as war, climate change, race, and Bernie’s signature cause of income inequality — which could be solved by raising Larry’s salary.

And Larry asked Bernie this key question: If he were to win the Democratic nomination, “would you promise to schlong Donald Trump?”

Trevor Noah examined the armed standoff at the wildlife refuge in Oregon, and presented a novel case for just letting the militia group win this one: “They want to get all of the nation’s militants, and militant sympathizers, to voluntarily exile themselves at a frozen campsite in the middle of nowhere, and then stay for there as long as it takes. It’s a win-win, people.”

Stephen Colbert highlighted the Vatican newspaper giving a negative review of the new Star Wars movie: “This review really has me torn, because I’m now caught in a crisis of faith between deeply-held beliefs embedded in me since childhood — and the Catholic Church.”
